A reply can be correct and still feel wrong. If it sounds stiff, repeats the customer's question back, or opens every message with the same greeting, customers can tell they are talking to a machine.
This month we worked on how Novinect sounds.
Speaking the customer's language
Many of the agencies we work with serve Sudanese customers, who write in their own Arabic dialect. Novinect now understands that dialect and answers in a natural, matching tone. It also follows the customer's style: a short, casual message gets a short, friendly reply, and a formal message gets a formal one.
Remembering returning customers
Customers come back. Novinect now remembers what it learned in earlier conversations, so a returning customer does not have to explain everything again.
Small things that make a big difference
- Greeting once. Novinect greets a customer and uses their name once per conversation, not in every message.
- No echoing. It no longer repeats the customer's question back before answering it.
- A calmer handover. When a conversation is passed to the team, Novinect sums up what the customer needs and reassures them that a person will follow up.
Why tone matters for an agency
For a travel agency, every chat is a first impression. The goal is simple: a customer should feel they are talking to a helpful member of the agency, not a script.
