Novic Technologies designs, builds, and operates software for travel agencies and growing businesses across East Africa and the Arab world, led today by Novinect, our WhatsApp receptionist.
Our Story
From design services to a product company.
Novic Technologies was established in April 2023. In the early stages, the company delivered graphic design, UI/UX, and web development services to a diverse range of clients.
In January 2025, the company began developing its first major software product — a booking and operations platform for the travel industry. This marked the transition from a service-oriented operation to a product-driven technology company.
By late 2025, Novic made the strategic decision to broaden its scope beyond travel. Rather than competing in a crowded market, the team would apply its engineering capability across multiple sectors where purpose-built solutions could deliver immediate, measurable value.
That pivot produced a family of products: Novinect, Ilmxel, Guest Gain and Prime Stock, alongside the travel platform and a dedicated marketing arm.
In April 2026, Novic Technologies was formally incorporated as a private limited company under the Uganda Registration Services Bureau.
Later in 2026 we sharpened our focus. Novinect moved to the official WhatsApp Business API, and in October 2026 we released Novi 3, our WhatsApp receptionist, now live. Today, Novinect leads everything we build.

Novic Technologies was established in April 2023 in Kampala, Uganda. It was formally incorporated as a private limited company under the Uganda Registration Services Bureau in April 2026.
Our focus is Novinect, a WhatsApp receptionist for travel agencies and growing businesses, now live as Novi 3.5. We also run the Novic Marketing Network for travel agencies and continue to support the schools using Ilmxel. Over the years our team has also built Guest Gain (hotel monitoring), Prime Stock (inventory management) and Novic Flights (travel technology).
