Novinect Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how businesses, dashboard users, or customers can request deletion of data associated with Novinect. These instructions apply specifically to Novinect and are provided for Meta App Review and user data deletion requirements.

1. How to Request Deletion

Send a deletion request to support@novictech.com. Use the subject line "Novinect Data Deletion Request" so we can route the request correctly.

2. Information to Include

To help us identify the correct records, include as much of the following as possible:

  • Business name or organization name.
  • Connected WhatsApp Business number or customer WhatsApp number relevant to the request.
  • Novinect account email or dashboard user email.
  • Your role in relation to the business or conversation.
  • Deletion scope: full Novinect workspace, connected WhatsApp account records, dashboard user, contacts, message history, leads, AI knowledge/settings, logs, or a specific conversation/contact.

3. What Deletion Can Include

Depending on the request and your authorization, deletion may include:

  • Novinect account or business profile records.
  • Dashboard users, staff access records, and role assignments.
  • Connected WhatsApp identifiers, tokens, WABA IDs, phone number IDs, and related connection records.
  • Contacts, customer records, WhatsApp message history, conversation notes, lead records, labels, and staff replies.
  • AI receptionist settings, business knowledge base content, prompts, summaries, extracted lead details, and workflow settings.
  • Technical logs where feasible and not required for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, billing, backups, or dispute resolution.

4. Timeline

We aim to acknowledge Novinect deletion requests within 7 days. We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days where legally and technically possible.

If we need more information to verify the request or identify the relevant records, the timeline may depend on the requester providing that information.

5. Records That May Be Retained

Some records may be retained where required or reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, abuse investigation, legal compliance, billing, accounting, backups, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our Terms of Service.

Backup copies may take additional time to expire through normal backup rotation, but they are not used for active service operation once deletion is completed from production systems.

6. Disconnecting Novinect From Meta

A business may also remove or disconnect Novinect access from its Meta Business settings where applicable. This can help stop future API access or messaging through connected Meta and WhatsApp Business assets. Removing access in Meta does not automatically delete historical data already stored in Novinect, so a deletion request should still be sent if deletion is required.
